David is an IECL-certified executive coach fluent in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. He specialises in helping senior leaders thrive in uncertainty, harness AI , and build resilient, high-performing teams.
Before Humantyze, David led AI strategy for Asia at Ruder Finn, where he integrated cutting-edge technologies across regional operations and launched Asia’s first AI-centric solutions for crisis communications, automated analytics, and consumer insights. He previously led RFI Asia, Ruder Finn’s digital practice across the region.
Earlier, David served as Asia Pacific EVP at WE Communications, overseeing multi-market operations, after founding Shout Communications (acquired by WE in 2005). He has also held leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Redback Networks, Hill & Knowlton, and Edelman.
Across three decades in technology, communications, and digital transformation, David has advised leaders at Edrington GTR, Prudential Asia, Manulife Asia, HSBC, L’Oréal Asia, Marriott International, Tencent, and many others. His coaching approach blends strategic clarity, behavioral science, and practical tools to create lasting leadership impact.
